Lindsay and Adam travelled from NH to meet me at the Tunbridge World Fairgrounds last fall for their engagement session. I was worried we might have missed peak foliage – but wow, the fall colors were just gorgeous! My favorite brother (still favorite, even though he’s my only one!) had just come home with an honorable discharge from the US Marine Corps when I met Lindsay and Adam, so this couple certainly holds a special place in my heart. It was truly an honor and treat to photograph this military couple! They were so friendly and gracious, and totally got my sense of humor. We instantly hit it off and had the best time just hanging out talking. The fairgrounds are incredible! After exploring an empty barn and livestock area we took a walk with their adorable dogs and strolled through the fields in search of leaves and some fun. We even took a short ride to an old covered bridge before finishing out our shoot at the fairgrounds entrance as darkness fell. Lindsay is absolutely gorgeous with fantastic style and a gentle smile – she’s a beautiful girl and it’s so easy to see why Adam is completely smitten. I love when a guy will just go for it and roll around in the leaves with his lady while I take photos. I’m even more impressed when he’ll set off fireworks and to capture the most romantic shots with the love of his life! Unfortunately I was already booked for their wedding date – July 4th – and at Jay Peak. I didn’t run into them while there photographing another wedding, but I did hear the party!
