Sometimes when I look back through photos from an engagement session I’m kinda blown away. The amount of portrait sessions and clients I have tends to be overwhelming in certain months (the fall!) as I’m wrapping up weddings and running all over for shoots – I only have a chance to post a teeny tiny percentage of the gorgeousness captured from all these shoots. It’s quite a shame – but I’m so so happy when I am able to share! I have to say that my favorite season for photography is fall. There is a certain magic in the browns, tans, reds, yellows and dark greens…these colors photograph incredibly well and have a dreamy, romantic feel. Last fall I met up with Ariel & Devin in the absolute height of foliage season here in Vermont. We went to Lover’s Lane (yes, it’s actually called that!) and as expected, the trees were just dripping with rich color. The hazy fall sun was peeking through the trees creating a gorgeous warm glow; it was perfect. This couple is incredibly smart, funny and was a blast to photograph! Ariel and Devin recently graduated from Georgetown University with Law Degrees, super impressive. Today I’m headed to their wedding at The Round Barn in Waitsfield and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this amazing couple!
